0 Beckley, WV Beckley, WV Full-time Full-time $28,000 - $32,000 a year $28,000 - $32,000 a year Mountain State Centers for Independent Living is looking for a qualified person to serve as a Community Resource and Employment Specialist to assist people with disabilities to find and maintain employment by creating relationships with employers and WV Division of Rehabilitation counselors, assist with finding accessible housing, transitioning from nursing facility to community based living, or transitioning students from high school to post secondary education or to assist them in finding employment.
The perfect candidate would be able to navigate community resources with persons with disabilities to assist them in living as independently as they choose.
JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree Excellent computer skills Individual must be detail oriented Excellent written, oral communication, and listening skills Compassion and respect for persons with disabilities Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to work individually and in a team Ability to complete tasks timely Individual must be able to work in a self-directed work environment Excellent organizational skills Must pass a criminal background check Note:
At the discretion of the President/CEO, work experience with persons with disabilities may be substituted for years of college education.
