Social Worker-Homeless Coordinator

This is a clinical and administrative social work position.
The Social Work Homeless Program Coordinator manages the administrative and clinical aspects of the Homeless programs.
These programs include the Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) outreach program, the Veteran Justice Outreach program (VJO), Housing and Urban Development- VA Supportive Housing program (HUD VASH).
This position is also responsible for the oversight of the Contract Residential Facility.
This includes, budgeting and oversight of the HCHV staff and general operations of the program.
The incumbent also provides clinical supervision for the Community Employment Coordinator (CEC), and the Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist (VRS), HCHV Substance Use Disorders Specialist (SUD specialist) and the Medical Support Assistant (MSA) for the program.
These programs serve all Veterans treated at this facility who reside within our network service area, a largely rural area.
This also includes the coordination of inquiries from the National Call Center, which receives numerous phone call in which veterans are seeking homeless services.
As the Program Coordinator, the incumbent assists in planning, establishing, and implementing policies and procedures; developing individual or group goals and objectives as well as coordinating the Social Work staff of the assigned program.
The incumbent will assure the Social Workersand other program staff adhere to all current directives of Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and meet current Joint Commission (JC) and Council for Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) standards, and State licensure standards.
The incumbent will conduct ongoing reviews to ensure the accomplishment of objectives and adherence to standards set by governing bodies.
The incumbent also provides direct clinical services.
On-call psychiatric evaluations and consultative duties for veterans who present off-tours at the Emergency Department will be part of this position and scheduled on a rotational basis with existing psychiatric staff.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
