RN Staff Nurse Geriatrics and Extended Care 6th floor CLC

Intentional False statements and/or deception at any point in the pre-employment process, including but not limited to, content on a federal application/resume, information submitted during the credentialing process, information submitted on a background investigation, and pre-employment screenings, may result in disqualification for the position or removal from federal service.
The registered nurse is directly responsible to the designated clinical care coordinator in the Geriatrics and Extended Care Service Line.
the registered nurse possesses the knowledge and skills to effectively apply all aspects of the nursing process within a collaborative, interdisciplinary practice setting, which will then enable effective implementation of health promotion and prevention practices, management of acute and chronic illnesses, and attainment of optimal levels of functioning and/or support of the dying patient and significant others.
Role responsibilities and accountabilities also include demonstration of knowledge and skill necessary to provide care appropriate to the age related needs of patients served in the Geriatrics and Extended Care Service Line.
This knowledge includes understanding changes associated with aging and principles of growth and development relevant to the adult and geriatric population.
The registered nurse is also responsible and accountable for maintaining BLS and for performing activities that reflect the educational experiential and competency requirements outlined in the four dimensions:
practice, professional development, collaboration and scientific inquiry.
In addition, the registered nurse is accountable and responsible for possessing the knowledge and skills to:
communicate and interact appropriately and courteously with all internal and external customers, maintain confidentiality of electronic, written and/or verbal patient/employee information.
The registered nurse must demonstrate working practices that include adherence to infection control standards and the safe use and operation of equipment.
Work Schedule:
8 hr shifts, rotating to include holidays, evenings, midnights and weekends.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
